Reading through the Bible in a year is a righteous goal under any circumstances, however, the opportunity I’ve had this year to read through the Bible and touch base every morning with my sisters in Christ – calling out just one verse from our reading that day and discussing has been such a blessing.  There is always some challenge or reminder in that verse that helps me look at myself and the day ahead of me in God’s light.  The women are encouraging and we have an opportunity to pray for one another.  Even those days when I the days when I don’t think I have time for the 15-20 minute phone call, I am always grateful that I took the time.  I know God honors those few minutes and pours out his blessings.

The convenience of this format can’t be beat.  We are all so busy that getting together with other believers seems like a chore sometimes.  Being able to dial into a conference call every morning from home, or work and sometimes I park my car in my work parking lot facing the mountains and talk from the car.  You can make this connection from anywhere and it only takes a few minutes. It is a few minutes that can really make a difference in how you approach the day ahead. - Marcie

 

This devotional time is a set-apart time when I can gather with precious women who encourage, uplift, and impart wisdom to me. 

It's amazing how God speaks to me. I find that the verses discussed are used in my life throughout the day with my friends and family.

So, don't miss out. This is a wonderful way to get your heart and life straight before the things of the day overtake you. I just love starting my day by acknowledging Jesus Christ. - Katharine

8. Start Meeting. Enjoy the daily encouragement.
